Bank extends wellness from employees to local communities ...

Cleveland-based KeyBank has healthier employees and lower medical costs since it embraced a systemic approach to encouraging employees to become more involved in their well-being.

The bank attributes its success to simple health plan designs, including two high-deductible health plan options and one preferred-provider organization program.

The bank also donated $1 million to Susan G. Komen for the Cure to develop a program that will provide breast health education and screenings to 110,000 medically underserved women in 17 U.S. cities where KeyBank has a presence.
