JP Iscon has announced that it is planning to set up Gujarat?s largest ever mall spread over one million square feet in Ahmedabad. 
Since the last four years it is already running the largest mall in Gujarat spread over 4.5 lakh square feet, Iscon Mega Mall, located in Ahmedabad.
The company is also planning to set up another mall in Surat. It already has an operational mall in Surat and another one Rajkot.
The Iscon Mega Mall at Ahmedabad, Gujarat?s biggest mall, has emerged as the preferred destination for international and national premium high-end brands like Tommy Hilfiger, Esprit, US Polo, Guess, The Body Shop and Ritu Kumar, amongst many others. In fact, the Tommy Hilfiger store at the Mall is one of the top 3 out of around 50 such stores spread across India in terms of sales per square feet per month.
The centrally air-conditioned complex spread over 4.5 lakh area of retail space is the largest shopping mall in Gujarat with two huge central atriums of 11,878 and 10,340 square feet. It has ample parking space for more than 600 cars and 800 two wheelers, as well as travelators and escalators from the parking level to the mall which makes it a convenient shopping destination.
While Reliance is occupying 1.8 lakh square feet of the mall area, the remaining 2.7 lakh square feet is managed by Gujarat Mall Management Co. Pvt. Ltd., a fully owned subsidiary of JP Iscon Ltd. The occupancy level for the area managed by the JP Iscon group is over 95%.
Explaining the success of Iscon Mega Mall, the Chairman of JP Iscon Ltd, Mr. Pravin Kotak said, ?Our focus from day one has been to provide an ambience as well as offer services that are on par with what a discerning and quality conscious buyer will find at malls abroad. This has enabled us to attract the high-end brand conscious consumers of Ahmedabad and nearby towns who come here to shop for high-end global and national brands.?
Managing Director of JP Iscon, Jateen Gupta, further added, ?Iscon Mega Mall records an average foot-fall of around 60,000 on weekends and about 20,000 during week days. At Iscon Mega Mall, it is a shopping, entertainment and leisure extravaganza 365 days a year!?
